Main Lesson Plan
For your bookwork today, I’d like you to weigh the heaviest thing you can weigh and the lightest thing you can weigh. Write about it and draw it in your main lesson book (large red book).
Do the following work in your maths practice book (medium red book). You do not need to write out the questions. Answers are below.
The 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g and 100g clay weights are the following lengths: 1cm, 3cm, 5cm, 9cm and 20cm. If they are all lined up, how long is the line?
Jett made a balance scale that is 65cm high and Tya made a balance scale that is 36cm high. How much taller is Jett’s balance scale?
Each saffron flower has 3 stamens. How many stamens will you have altogether if you have 11 flowers?
If each saffron flower has 3 stamens and you have 30 stamens, how many flowers do you have?
